Adams Peak is one of the most sacred locations in all of Sri Lanka, holding enormous religious value to Hindus, Buddhist, and Catholics, believes to be the point from which creation sprung from. This sit acts as a universal holy sit to the island diverse religious population, which continues to this day to periodically boil over into violence. Zheng He visited this holy site one one of his many stops in Sri Lanka.
