The nearly perpetual lack of reproductive rights and control of woman has been a major source of oppression thanks to the Patriarchy. Birth control and the feminist and sexual revolutions of the 20th century challenged beliefs about love, sex, gender, sexuality, and life that had stood almost since the advent of the Patriarchy it's self.
